PressCise continues to strengthen its patent portfolio
A patent to protect the unique bandage-fastening devices PressLock® and MiniLock™ was approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and validated in the EU (WO 2016/153421).
​
In addition, the company also celebrated the approval of a patent application for a new compression garment patent by the USPTO under patent no. US-2017-0367899 / WO 2016/116125.

Presentations at the SAWC Fall event in Las Vegas, NV, USA
PressCise had 3 separate poster presentations on display at the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Fall event in Las Vegas between October 29--31. The presentations discussed research regarding:
• Relative Pressure Drop
• The Swimming Pool Paradrox
• A comparative test of a new smart textile compression system

Presentation at Medicinteknikdagarna 2021
PressCise CTO and co-Inventor Josefin Damm presented an abstract submitted alongside co-Inventor Prof. Torbjörn Lundh and CEO Andreas Nilsson entitled "Towards a quantifiable compression treatment” at the Swedish Society for Medical Engineering's conference on October 5th.

PressCise announces new Chairman and Board members
Johan Rask has been named PressCise's new Chairman of the Board. He has previously served as Global Head of Business Development M&A at Mölnlycke Healthcare, and Business Area Leader at Abigo Medical.

Fanny Erre and Joel Schleeh have been named as new Board members. Fanny Erre is the Head of Sales and Commercial Operations at the start-up 1928 Diagnostics, with broad experience in both direct and distributor sales. Joel Schleeh is an active board member for several scale-up companies.

Presentation at the European Venous Forum
PressCise's Prof. Torbjörn Lundh presented at the 2021 Virtual EVF Conference at the end of June 2021. His presentation was entitled "Will padding the leg to a perfect circular shape give an even pressure during compression treatment?"

CEO Andreas Nilsson was invited to speak at the College of Phlebology's annual International Veins Meeting in June. His presentation is entitled: "PressCise: Innovation in Compression Stockings".

PressCise secures a new patent!
PressCise's application for a new patent was recently approved by the European Patent Office (EPO). patent no. EP3247318A1 now protects "A compression garment for provision of an adjustable pressure."

PressCise presents at Engineering Health 2021
CEO Andreas Nilsson and CTO Josefin Damm presented at the Engineering Health 2021 seminary hosted by Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. PressCise receives Bronze at JWC Awards!
After having been shortlisted as a finalist for the 2020 JWC Awards in the category of Most Innovtive Dressing or Device, the JWC Awards winners were announced in February 2021 during a virtual event. PressCise's Lundatex stocking was awarded the prize.
