Solutions for cancer-related lymphoedema

One of the major long-term complications after breast cancer surgery is breast cancer-related lymphoedema in the arm(s), where prevalence in patients has been reported to be between 12-60%*.
PressCise has initiated R&D on a novel compression sleeve for patients suffering from oedema in the arm. The Lundatex® arm sleeve was evaluated in a clinical study, with some positive comments from patients such as high comfort.
However, for most arm lymphoedema patients, an additional compression glove is needed to prevent the hand from swelling. Hence, a glove would need to be developed as a complement to the arm sleeve.
